THE ZONE launches an in-house magazine next week.
Members with writing, artwork and editing skills are needed to make the production of The Forward a reality for a first issue in January 2009.
Senior editor Adam Warner said: "It's going to be a great project to get involved with during the coming months.
"I need creative youngsters to join the team as it will be stimulating and fun."
Meanwhile the Zone refurbishment project has proved a smash hit with members and more than 150 youngsters have been quick to sign up to the new membership drive.
Updated areas include Café Chai, the sports hall, TV lounge, Street Sound and games room.
Zone operations manager Simon Harris said: "We must offer as many opportunities as possible for young people of all ages to socialise, play sports, be creative and expressive.
"Expressive is the key term. Young people need resources to show they have lots of ideas and opinions. They must be able to use the Zone as an outlet, to give them a voice."
Simon believes the Zone has a grown up feel.
He said: "It is a place members can be proud to call their own.
"There is definitely a wow factor compared to how it was at the start of the summer.
"Having worked with different youth groups around the country, Zone members and the Jewish community are really lucky to have a building of this size dedicated to young people."
