While that is certainly true, Daisy Abboudi is determined that her culture is not just about its food.
For she is the daughter of Sudanese Jews; her grandparents left the country in the 1960s.
Yet, even within the UK Jewish community, she has found people shocked that Jews from Sudan actually exist.
