IT is often said that Judaism and music go hand in hand. Visit any synagogue during a service and you will hear tune after tune, to go along with every prayer.
And Sam Glaser, 58, is the embodiment of that.
Having released more than 25 albums, and being named as one of the top 10 Jewish artists in America, he is a composer, performer and interpreter of Jewish music — and he holds a global 50-city music tour every year which ends in Israel.
And, he has just finished his second semicha, as well as studying at a yeshiva in Jerusalem.
He told me, from his studio in Los Angeles: “Music is the easiest, deepest way to access our souls, and it is such a unifying force.
