YOU could put your life savings on Howard Moss’ family home being among the cleanest in the UK — if not the world.
And that should come as no surprise as Howard is the boss at Bradford-based cleaning products manufacturer Astonish.
“If it is not spotless, I guess I have a problem,” he laughed.
Astonish boasts around 50 products in its cleaning range.
It all started in 1969 when Howard’s father, Alan, set up the company from a trestle table in a garage.
And it is now on track to achieve a £27 million turnover this year.
Leeds-raised Howard told me: “I have never had to make a redundancy and I am very proud of that.
“It is not just about what the business can do for me or my family, it is more a case of the wider picture.”
That benevolent nature is something which was demonstrated earlier this year when Astonish pledged to donate £100,000 to NHS Charities Together.
