GERMAN-born Bettina Malka-Igelbusch — a convert to Judaism — was shocked to discover her grandfather was a Nazi Storm Trooper.
After making aliya, she now works at Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust memorial.
Bettina, who lives in Jerusalem with her husband and three children (ranging in age from 13 to 26)
is from a Catholic family and is a graduate of Cologne University.
She serves as director of the reference and information services department of the Yad Vashem Archives.
