Producer Michael believed Wladyslaw's story needed to feature composer's music

ROMAN Polanski's 2002 film The Pianist may have won three Oscars, but there was something very important missing from it … the music of Wladyslaw Szpilman.

“There’s not a note of Szpilman’s music in the film,” said Michael Wolk, who is producing a musical version of The Pianist.
