ELANA BAYNARD and RICHARD COHEN both must have asked for treats at a JNF Manchester Halloween event three years ago.

For they were married by Rabbi Abraham Hassan, of Salford's Shaare Tephillah (Spanish and Portuguese) Synagogue, at Worsley's Marriott Hotel.

Blackpool-born Elana, who is training to be an accountant, is the daughter of Linda Baynard of Whitefield, while Richard, who works in banking, is the son of Jacqui and Tony Cohen of Alwoodley, Leeds.

Best men was the groom's brother Simon Cohen and Mark Smaje. Pageboys were Zach Shipman, Sam Jacobs and Daniel Jacobs. Elli Shipman was bridesmaid.

The bride's grandparents Ann and Nat Futter, of Whitefield, joined in the celebrations, as did guests from Israel, Ireland and America.

The couple honeymooned in the Caribbean and Miami before settling in Whitefield.
