Daniel snapped up a wife...

TAKING photos of a singles event for the Jewish Telegraph helped Daniel Monk find a bride.

Donna Delmonte, one of the founders of the singles group, was celebrating her 45th birthday the day Daniel went along to take the pictures.

After 16 years together, they were finally married at Glasgow Reform Synagogue on Sunday.

Just a few weeks ago, in the depths of wintry weather, it had not boded so well for the bride-to-be who had persevered through serious illness and last-minute worries about whether the event would even take place.

She needn't have worried, as the couple enjoyed a sunny, happy wedding weekend.

Rabbi Nancy Morris officiated and the Kefli Ladies' Choir performed at their first chuppah.
