FOLLOWING my last visit to Malta, in December 2017, I raised the intriguing prospect of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle honeymooning there the following summer.
Ultimately, they didn’t choose the Mediterranean island, but the-now Duchess of Sussex fell in love with the former British possession on a three-day visit just under three years earlier.
She has previously revealed that her great-great grandmother Mary was born in Malta in 1862, and Meghan said she was surprised to find locals with her own facial features.
