Batia, from nearby Kibbutz Kfar Aza, has been taking photographs with her mobile phone during her daily walks along the perimeter fence of Kfar Aza and elsewhere in the region known as ‘The Gaza Envelope’.

She decided to make contact with photographers on the other side of the divide between Gaza and the Israeli communities.
