Noa: I’m so proud my country loves me

IT was fewer than two weeks ago that Israel’s Eurovision representative was preparing for one of the biggest performances of her life on the global stage.

Noa Kirel’s enigmatic song Unicorn, which featured a showstopping breakdancing scene at its climax, saw Israel finish third overall in the Eurovision standings — the country’s best finish since Netta won with her song Toy in 2018.

But for Noa, despite already being an internationally recognised star, performing at Eurovision is a high she is yet to fully come down from.
