Seth really knows how to talk. He makes life easy for an interviewer. I could ask one question and then wait for him to come up for air.

And he is incredibly hard-working, whether it is writing music and lyrics for a musical theatre production, writing books, performing his weekly cabarets, recording podcasts or creating newspaper crosswords.

Much of our chat was about his musical Love Quirks, which runs at London’s The Other Palace Studio from September 18 to October 12, directed by Cecilie Fray.

The cast for the UK premiere comprises Lewis Bear Brown as Ryan, a queer, witty and whimsical serial dater; Clodagh Greene as Stephanie, a non-nonsense Brit; Ayesha Patel as Lili, a wacky graduate student; and Tom Newland as Chris, a sweet American jock.
