Eva falls for man in a uniform

SARA RUBIN of Pennsylvania wants to identify this British soldier who married her cousin Eva Dattel between 1939 and 1945.

Sara has tried to have the soldier identified but no one can recognise the insignia on his uniform.

Sara had believed that Eva and her parents Mayer and Feige Dattel died in the Holocaust - until she saw this wedding photograph.

Apparently Eva changed her name at some point to escape the Nazis.

The wedding picture was taken by Boris Bennett of Whitechapel.
