Help put Steve in picture about Isaac's grave
STEVE Cooper, of Canada, wants a photograph of his great great grandfather's gravestone.
Steve's ancestors lived in Leeds from 1850-90. They came as Yeretskys, but left mainly as Harris.
His great great grandfather Isaac Yeretsky is buried in a Jewish cemetery in the city.
Another great grandfather was called Morris Yeretsky (Harris). He also used the first name John and met and married local girl Sarah Sheldon.
Family myth says Sarah converted to Judaism, which would explain a three year gap between the civil and religious records of marriage.
