A BOOK on the history of Bolton's Jewish community will be launched next month.

John Cowell and Hilary Thomas will launch An Industrious Minority at Menorah Synagogue, Sharston, on November 11 (10.45am).

The pair will also discuss the book at Bolton Library on November 29 (2pm).

The 309-page book - which features 30 photographs - will be available to buy at the events or from Hilary at hiltone@talktalk.net or John at jcowellnix@yahoo.com
