IT has been around 45 years since Simon Mendelson last saw school pal Robert AbraHAms.

But as Simon, of Sale, approaches his 60th birthday, he would like to hear from Robert.

They were both pupils at Whitefield Secondary Modern School and they last saw each other when they were 15.

Simon told the Jewish Telegraph: "I moved with my family to Gatley when I was 15. It is my 60th birthday soon and I would like to catch up with a few people.

"I know that Robert's parents used to live on Overbrook Drive, Prestwich, and his father had a couple of car pitches in Ashton. Robert went on to be a taxi driver."
