A MANCHESTER man is looking to trace relatives of the late Henry Crème.

Joseph Worthington, who lives in Chadderton, said Henry was married to his mother's sister, Teresa Ford.

Joseph explained that Henry was born in 1913 to Mary Crème and Abraham Bloom.

Mary was born to Russian Jews Jacob and Fanny Crème, who Anglicised their name from Coram after moving to Honey Street, Cheetham Hill.

Mary's brother Harris and sister Florence were born in Russia, while her other siblings Lanina, Myer, Betsy, Simon, Abe, Rachel and Ezy were all born in Manchester.
