PETER GIELER of Cryers Hill is trying to trace members of the Pollak family who fled from Vienna in 1939.
He especially wants to find Melitta (Lisl) Pollak who was born 1914/1916 and her brother Felix, born 1907.
Their parents were Isidor Pollak and Fanny Pollak nee Kohn. Fanny was born in 1880.

PETER BUSH of Stanmore is researching a Liverpool family who were originally named Abrahams but changed to Braham in the early 1900’s.
Harry; Amelia married William Heaton in 1919; Isabella; Ida married Joseph Rosen in 1922; May married Charles Cooper in 1925; and Sydney Braham who married Isabella Swede in 1931.
Ida and Joseph (a tailor ) lived in Seacombe, Wallasay in 1949 and Sydney, an engineer, lived at 69 Lorenzo Drive, West Derby in 1952.

DAVID HARRIS of Maryland is searching for the family of his great uncle Simcha Burstein (Burnstein).
He was a European representative for the Eberhard-Faber pencil company and stayed in Portugal until about 1960.
At that time, the family, including his son Reuben Burstein, left Portugal for the UK and contact with the New York branch of the family was lost.
