DAPHNA Brafman wants to find her father's twin brother who has been missing since the 1940s.
Chaim Moshe and Mordechai Brafman were born in Warsaw to Avraham and Bracha (nee Kasner) Brafman. They lived at 50 Nowolipje, Warsaw.
Chaim Moshe moved to Israel in 1937 but Mordechai stayed in Poland. He reportedly survived the Holocaust but Chaim Moshe has been unable to trace him.

CHRIS Lockwood of Doncaster is trying to trace descendants of Joseph Morris.
Joseph, a tailor, was born in Russia around 1872 and came to live in Leeds circa 1880. His wife was Esther and some of their children were Kalman, Hyman, Cecil, Jack and Fanny.
Joseph died in Leeds in 1943, seven years after Esther.

STEVE Maggs of Berkshire wants information on booksellers Benjamin Marks and Mark Cohen, who ran Marks & Co at 84 Charing Cross Road, London WC2.
Steve runs a website chronicling the history of the shop made famous in Helene Hanff's book. The site entitled '84 Charing Cross Road - Revisited' can be found at www.84charingcrossroad.co.uk
Mr Marks died in 1968 and his more famous son Leo passed away a couple of years ago. Mark Cohen died in 1971. He had a daughter, Deborah, who would be into her 70s now.
Steve would particularly like to know where Benjamin and Mark were born, what schools they attended and when they started up in business.

AMERICAN Jack Winkleman needs help to complete his family tree.
Jack's aunt, Hytobe Winkleman Bartell, moved from Suwalki, Poland, to Manchester before 1932. Hytobe had some 13 children.
Harry, Leslie (who died in World War II), David, and George were some of her children.
Jack knows that Hytobe was in Manchester in 1932 because his father, Abraham, and uncle, Arthur, visited the Bartell family after visiting family members in Poland during the summer of 1932.
David Bartell was born on December 30, 1917, and he died in Brooklyn in 1985. George and Harry also settled in the US. Leslie Bartell was 33 years old when he died in Burma.
