CHARITABLE Amy Kessler is giving a donation to St Gemma's Hospice and Donisthorpe Hall from her batmitzvah gifts.
The kind-hearted youngster took centre stage at the United Hebrew Congregation on Shabbat for her big day.
Amy is the daughter of Joanna and Michael Kessler, of Alwoodley, and attends Allerton High School.
Her hobbies include art, drama, cycling and singing.
Grandparents Judith and Alan Caplan and Roni and Tony Kessler, all of Leeds, joined guests at the simcha though Amy's great-grandma, Inge Sinclair, who lives in Newcastle was unable to attend.
Amy's eight year old brother Jacob attends Brodetsky Primary School.
