NATALIE Perman showed she is made of the 'write' stuff when she celebrated her batmitzvah at Cheshire Reform (Menorah) Synagogue.

The daughter of Bonnie and Tim Perman, of Bowdon, is a passionate writer and also enjoys reading.

A pupil at Withington Girls' School, she was joined at the simcha by brothers Tom, 20, and Alastair, 22, as well as grandmother Shirley Arffa.

Bonnie moved to England 17 years ago from Connecticut, America, and many members of her family travelled over 'the Pond' for the special occasion.
