She was in Israel for sister Hadassah Serruya's marriage in the summer of 2007 when she met Yossi in Jerusalem.

And two years later, the couple married in Israel's capital.

Michal, the daughter of Chani and David Steinberg, of Salford, is a nurse and midwife, while Yossi, the son of Sandra and Lenny Mann, of Jerusalem, is a handyman.

Maid of honour was Hadassah, while best man was Yossi's brother Avi.

Bridesmaids were the groom's nieces, Daniella Mann, Tzion Mann and Naomi Pransky.

Pageboys were the groom's nephews, Yoel Mann and Yisroel Mann.

The bride's grandmother, Esther Steinberg, and the groom's grandmother, Toni Eder, joined in the celebrations, as did guests from Britain and Canada.

After a honeymoon in Thailand, the couple have settled in Salford.
