The keen ballet and jazz dancer had taken part in a ceremony at Beis Yaakov High School after undertaking the Lubavitch Discovery Course.

The daughter of Marilyn and Marc Leon, of Broughton Park, Alexandra is a pupil at Manchester High School for Girls.

Also joining in the celebrations were grandparents Farrell and Aimee Leon, of Paris, and Sheila and Gerry Barnett, of London.
