The Altrincham Grammar School for Boys pupil loves playing golf and is a technical whiz, too.

Matthew, the son of Sharon and Ian Buchalter, of Hale Barns, has a 16-year-old sister, Charlotte.

He is a member of BBYO South Manchester and sits on the school's publications committee.

Also joining in the celebration was grandmother Patricia Baker, of Sale.
