IT was love at first sight for Joel Goldman and Miriam Dysch after they met in Manchester. And they were married at the Mercure Grange Park Hotel, Hull.
Joel, a social media producer for BBC Sport in Salford, is the son of Pam and Ian Goldman, of Leeds.
Miriam, a primary school teacher in Moss Side, is the daughter of Sharon and Ian Dysch, of Hull.
The ceremony was conducted by rabbis Naftoli Lifschitz, of Hull Hebrew Congregation, and JONATHAN Golomb, of Sheffield Jewish Congregation.
The best man was Dan Goldman. Maid of honour was Cara Berg with bridesmaids Daisy and Mia Goldman and Natalya Morrison.
Guests attended from Israel and America. The couple have settled in Didsbury, Manchester, and will honeymoon in Brazil later in the year.
LEEDS United fan Dominic Wilson celebrated his barmitzvah on Shabbat
at Beth Hamidrash Hagadol Synagogue.
Dominic, the son of Rosalind and Kyle Wilson, was joined by his sister Sadie and family from Australia, America and Israel.
The Allerton High School pupil also welcomed grandparents Rosemerry and Harry Venet.
