The daughter of Deborah and Richard Goldberg, of Wike, Leeds, Jemima is a pupil at the Grammar School at Leeds.

Jemima competes at skiing in UK and Europe at U-14 level, finishing runner-up in the Northern Summer Race League and Yorkshire snow championships.

Jemima's grandparents, Pearl and Michael Goldberg and Joyce and Maurice Ziff, both of Leeds, together with her great aunt from Israel, Marice Moscowich, were present.

Jemima's eight-year-old brother, James, also attends GSAL and skis competitively.
