Paragliders drop in on massive field Magen David

AT this time of year, fans of Israeli farmer and crop artist Peter Viner flock to a usually windswept mountain peak known as “Shaul's Shoulder” on the Gilboa Mountain range.

They are there to admire and photograph, from on high, another of his special winter unnatural natural creations, sprouting from the earth of a Jezreel Valley field below.

From this Gilboa Mountain range vantage point, visitors can enjoy stupendous vistas over the Jezreel, Bet Shean and Jordan valleys — the former dotted with agricultural fields and palm tree-encircled fish ponds.

And there is a fantastic view further eastwards to the impressive Gideon mountain range of Jordan looming diagonally in the near distance.

This year, the kibbutznik designer of impressive artistic images in nature from natural ingredients has done it again.
