Bahai gardens are blooming beautiful

COLOURFUL gloriously inviting tiered gardens and gleaming white stone terraces ascend the steep slopes of the Carmel Mountains from the German Colony area all the way up to and beyond the golden domed shrine of the revered Bahai faith founder, Bahaullah.

The meticulously laid out, unbelievably artistically-designed terraces cover a wide swathe over an area estimated to be around an astonishing one kilometre from the foot of the mountain to the crest.
