A SMALL train station in the Lower Galilee’s Jezreel Valley isn’t just a magnet for railway buffs.
It also attracts many bikers, hikers, young families and older folk wishing to walk the line!
The station is part of the Turkish-built mythological Valley Train, developed further by the British during the Mandate period.
At the turn of the millennium, a handful of local residents from the nearby communities of Al-Roy, Kiryat Amal and Tivon decided to save the deserted, decaying local Al-Roy and Kiryat Amal stations and slowly disappearing remnants of the narrow gauge track.
